Mark and Patti: Serving Christ Wherever He Leads

After serving in East Texas five years, we are finally settled permanently in the Philippines! Praise God! This past year has been a whirlwind of preparation, prayer, and vision—wrapping up ministry in East Texas, letting go of possessions, saying emotional goodbyes to dear friends and family, traveling, and fundraising. Throughout it all, God has been faithful. He has stirred in our hearts a vision for sustainable, Gospel-centered outreach among the poor and vulnerable.

This includes:

  • Bible-studies/Preaching in communities and local congregations
  • Daily children’s feeding
  • Developing small-scale chicken farming to provide eggs for our daily children's feeding program.
  • Expanding our safe activity spaces where children can play, build, learn, and hear daily Bible truths in a supervised, loving environment—protecting them from the dangers of exploitation and trafficking.
  • Empowering students to rise out of poverty through education or vocational skills—all rooted in discipleship and the hope found in Christ.
  • Supporting local fishermen in a squatter fishing village, where fish harvests are now down to only 10% of what they once were. We’re working on ways to help them diversify and sustain their livelihood.
Christ is our cornerstone, and we are simply His workers—going wherever He leads and loving whomever He brings.
